Approximate volume is 12 - 14 ounces. The Half-Pint is styled very similar to our larger Tankards, and also resembles the old Navy rum cups...another possible use....\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eEach Half-Pint mug is thrown on pottery wheel from stoneware clay, then a handle is added and the piece is fired to \"bisque\" temperature of over 1900 degrees Fahrenheit. We then glaze the piece and fire it again to over 2175 degrees Fahrenheit, or \"Cone 6\" to vitrify the clay and create a sturdy ceramic piece. The Half-Pint can be used in the microwave and dishwasher.
